Welcome to 4 Love Farm...

4 Love Farm started almost 10 years ago when I was a teenage girl with two Nigerian Dwarf doelings outside of Bozeman, Montana. The farm has grown since then, and now consists of an entire herd of American Dairy Goat Association registered Nigerian Dwarf goats. My goal is to raise Nigerian Dwarf goats with excellent milk production, while not compromising structure. 4 Love Farm is pleased to participate in DHIR testing, and Linear Appraisal, and is an ADGA Plus herd. Welcome to 4 Love Farm!

4 Love Farm's Latest News:

February 2022

This year will be a quiet one here on 4 Love Farm. After many years of kidding seasons, we have decided to take 2022 off. The herd remains here, and I’m sure we’ll be back at it in 2023. This will be a year of reflection, and some much deserved vacations and time off. We do, however, plan on attending our first show, the Treasure State Dairy Association show, this summer with some dry yearlings. We are beyond excited to get these does in the show ring!

2023 will bring with it a whole new set of adventures and challenges. We will start selling raw milk, and products from our goats (legal now in the state of Montana).

April 2021

Kidding season in March came and went with a bang! Once again, the does are all on ST 20 Milk test, with their second test of the season happening next week. This year at 4 Love Farm we are trying a different managing system. All kids were pulled at birth, and are being bottle fed. So far I am happy with the results. The kids follow us wherever we go, and their dams have quickly settled into a milking routine. I’m pleased to report that 4 Love Farm has signed up for ADGA’s Linear Appraisal program this year, and we look forward to getting our does scored. We also plan on attending a local show with some of the does and kids this summer. It’s shaping up to be a wonderful spring full of goats!

October 2020

Welcome to match-maker heaven! I’m pleased to announce that the Seven Winds and Anchors Aweigh herd have allowed me to lease their very special buck, CH Rosasharn PLW Call MetheBreez *B for this season. I couldn’t be more thrilled to have him here! I’ve long admired Call, and to have his genetics in my herd is something I’ve dreamed about. His pedigree is stacked with those gorgeous Rosasharn lines I admire. His grand dams are the lovely Top Ten doe SG Rosasharn P Haiku 4 * M VEEE 91, and GCH Rosasharn TL Queen Bee 5 *M VEEE 91. 2021 is going to be an exciting kidding season around here! I’m planning to retain two doelings from Call, and possibly a buckling, as well as 2 Doelings from Springwater OSR Stinkbomb D. Free Reservations are open for 2021, so feel free to reach out.

October Milk Test went off without a hitch, and I’m happy to report that 4 Love HC Filigree Tiara earned her milk star in Butterfat this month. Congrats, little girl. Filigree is now a 2*M milker!

4 Love WS Queen Anne's Lace 1*M- 157 DIM, 4.0 lbs, 7.2% butterfat, and 4.9% protein.

4 Love CM Invention of Wings 2*M- 182 DIM, 2.8 lbs, 6.9% butterfat, and 5.2% protein.

4 Love HC Filigree Tiara 2*M- 158 DIM, 1.4 lbs, 7.3% butterfat, and 5.6% protein.

August 2020

The 2021 Kidding Schedule is currently up, but still subject to change

DHIR Milk Test:
I’m thrilled to announce that 4 Love Farm is on ST 20 DHIR testing this year with 5 does. My top doe peaked at 6.4 pounds this year, and is still going strong. Milk test is the highlight of my month, and I couldn’t be happier to participate in this program. All 3 young does are set to earn their AR stars this year. And 3 of my does earned their ST stars on a one day test earlier this spring.

Linear Appraisal:
Unfortunately, Linear Appraisal was canceled this year due to Covid, but I’m hopeful that next year my girl’s will be appraised.

New Arrivals:
I’m thrilled to announce 4 Love Farm’s newest buckling, Springwater OSR Stinkbomb D. I’ve long admired the Springwater herd for their high production animals, and beautiful structure. I’m lucky to have such a fine buck join the herd, and plan to use him on most of my does this Fall.
