We can’t wait to see this promising doe kid for the first time in 2027. She earned her dry leg in 2025 and Best in show! Fae is one that just catches my eye even as she’s walking out in the pasture. She’s everything I’m looking for: dairy, open in the escutcheon, long, and with a nice wide rump and level topline. She is just a beautiful doe. Comet’s dam is an exceptional doe, placing 1st in the yearling milker class in 2021 Nationals, 5th place 3 year old at Nations in 2023, and 3rd place 4 year old at Nationals in 2024. This should be a very special pairing.

Kevin wow’d us this year by earning Reserve Champion at the BDGA show as a dry yearling. She is a bit “fluffy” as a dry yearling, but we think she’ll milk that off easily. Kevin excels in dairy strength, and has nice rear leg angulation and a wide rump. We can’t wait to see her freshen! She’s another one of our Magpie daughter’s to watch.

Lulu will be a yearling first freshener this year and we’re excited to see her mature. Lulu has nice rump width, and is quite long and stylish. She’s one of our retained Magpie daughters from this year, and a tight line breeding on Alejandro. Comet’s dam is an exceptional doe, placing 1st in the yearling milker class in 2021 Nationals, 5th place 3 year old at Nations in 2023, and 3rd place 4 year old at Nationals in 2024. She already looks to have improved teat placement over her dam, and we may just have to keep a daughter for ourselves this year:)
